I watched it in 3d two days ago, I'm gonna go watch it again in 3d this weekend. James Cameron already said that Avatar 3 is 95% done, but if you want him to release it, Avatar 2 needs to make over 2 billion. So if you love Avatar as much as I do, then I suggest you go watch it in theaters.💯

Hey. Remember the time so many people said nobody cares about Avatar, and nobody will care about nor go to see the sequel? Well, Avatar 2 grossed over $2 billion. Seems like a franchise a ton of people do care about. Weird. It's as if all those online haters and naysayers didn't know wtf they were talking about. But I'm sure it's just a fluke and the NEXT Avatar film will bomb, because nobody cares about avatar.

James Cameron – Not in a while.
Sounds like it will be like Top Gun: Maverick where it made more money and has a few rereleases after leaving theaters (and IMAX) for a little bit.
Avatar does not belong to Disney, it’s a James Cameron/Lightstorm IP, and the distribution deal with 20th Century Studios was made before they were acquired. D+ streaming will probably happen eventually, but I doubt the timing will be anything like their own movies unless they’re willing to pay handsomely for it.

If people think that then you guys are missing the point if you think this will hit streaming soon. Avatar 2 is made for theaters. And James Cameron will fume if he saw this hit streaming that soon.

If u want best version get the 4k blu ray
Cameron is right, if you want quality, which every moviefan should, you need physical releases. You need 4k blu rays to do those movies justice.
Streaming puts the quality of visuals way down depending on your internet.
Disney really needs to release all Disney+ Series also physically. I want the Mandalorian, I want Loki, goddammit. Just take my money already and give me what I want Disney.
What about Amazon prime video they usually release in a couple months
